Educational Website
Hey guys!
I love discovering new hidden treasures. I also love learning new things. So you can imagine my glee in finding this website: www.lynda.com
I don't want to sound like an ad for the site and I have no affiliation with them except that I just joined it this week, but it's filled with tons of tutorials for applications that I wanted to learn about. In fact, I was inches away from taking a $600 class before a pal told me about lynda.com. So if you're in the market to sharpen your skills on any number of software applications, you might want to check out this site first. It's worth the time!
Stay curious! Stay involved! Get excited!!
All Things Possible!

Hi everyone,
Just had a feeling there would be a new post today, since I got a posting note in my email about my Zenyatta post way back Feb. 1. Seemed strange, so I thought I might want to see if there is a new topic. And there is!
I just wish there was a way to find out that a new topic is up via email or something.
And, just this afternoon I saw that a software conference brochure was in my snail mail. In Las Vegas. I figured it must go to our son, who works in software. LOL, it has my name on the back at SGPPublishing.
So, between your post Chris and that coming, I guess that is a sign for me to get busy. Ha...I should send the brochure to you! But Lynda sounds much more economical and timesaving;) Yes I am really focusing on my website projects this spring. In fact, it would be awesome if the forum family has any suggestions or might send me nudge along. That would be very ATB for doing the ATP!
And, speaking of ATP, Tanya congrats on the music video and hope you will keep us all posted on how it's going. I read the book on my Kindle before it broke. Wow, that's some novel:) Wishing your author friend all the best for the book and projects.
Sometime you'll have to tell us about your Sam Keene (sp?) flying experiences. I still have to find my book. That would be good reading now.
Tim, thanks for all the eagle postings. When I checked the web cam last, they were sleeping:)
Warming up here at last a little...so suppose we must brace ourselves from some wild and wooly spring, as Alex likes to say "extreme" weather!
ATB/P to all and thanks for the great tech link for us...Sue

Hi everyone,
thanks for that link, Chris! I sometimes think about learning new things, but often you don't really need a full blown course to learn what you need to know. I will explore the site more fully on the weekend.
Hope all is well with everyone.
Spring has arrived here, we are having some lovely warm weather at the moment.
Happy weekend, everyone.

I can personally vouch for their training manuals, too. I used one to teach myself how to use Dreamweaver (web design software). It was a great time saver!

Hi everyone; hope all is well with y'all!
Thank you Chris for your great words, appreciation, input, for the link to such an useful website.
Tanya congrats and best wishes for your video.
Tim thank you again for that amazing link, for the updates on the eagles.
Welcome back Sue, Ute and Dave on the forum. Sue i say extreme weather as it really is generally all over the world! For instance, here and on the Alps this weekend we had the driest, sunniest, hottest April days ever with the highest temperatures ever in April since records began about 260 years ago; 93°F yesterday here, instead of 60°F!! Very wild, extreme weather! So be careful and take care everyone! Alex

Happy Earth Day/Happy Easter:)
Busy, busy forum family this spring, I know. Ute, good to see you here, hope your work is going well. Dave, I just thought of you and Tim, as the weather is acting up again. Out of the blue thunder and lightning at rather cool temps, it seems. Power went out briefly...a little reminder of Nature's wonders coming I suppose!
Alex, weather extremes for sure. I can't imagine your statistic there about the Alps. Amazing. Tanya, good luck with the flying! Look forward to the updates:) Chris, thanks for the link. No excuses for me now:) ATB to everyone...Sue
