More Dave

Well apparantly it's true. Here is the man of steel and he really looks 10 feet tall and bullet proof! This was submitted by Dave as well (remember, the worlds-largest-easter-basket guy?) along with some other wonderfully oddball pictures that didn't want to upload to this blog. And is the name of this town actually METROPOLIS?? If so, any chance we can get anyone from METROPOLIS to write in??

Thanks Dave!! Any comments?

Not much else to say Chris - just that for those who decide to visit Metropolis, don't be disappointed that it's not nearly as large as its fictional counterpart! All in all, I found it to be a pleasant town none the less.

That's one super Superman Dave, thanks for sharing! I understand that the States are filled with those 'world's largest..' things? I can't think of anything like that here in the Nethies..I think our country is too small for it!
Oh, and about the easter basket: If they ever decide to put real chocolate easter eggs in it: be sure to notify me!!

Yeah, can you imagine the size of the bunnie that must have left it there?

That sounds like a bad horror movie: 'Attack of the giant easter bunny.' *runs off to check on pet bunny*
Who cares about the bunny anyway, LOL. I mean: we're talking about GIANT CHOCOLATE easter eggs here!!

Yeah yeah, thanks a lot, Chris! I'll probably have nightmares about this now.. ;)
Oh, by the way: I actually did think of one 'worlds largest..' that we have in the Nethies..but I can't tell you about it..not on a public forum anyway *evil grin* !

Yep, I did in the previous thread - it's in southern Illinois.

Great photo! I had no idea there really was a Metropolis anywhere on the planet.

So we have Superman - but where is Lois Lane? Did you happen to see her too while in Metropolis, Dave?

And Jaschenka, you really have to tell me what you are talking about. I can think of a few large things in the Nethies, but nothing that you couldn't mention here... ;) I am curious!

    Have a great Sunday all!

No giant statues of Lois in Metropolis, or of any other member of the Superman "family." But don't worry, she and the others are well represented in the "Superman Museum."
