Happy Spinal Tap Day!
Happy 11-11-11!
Those of you into numerology may have valuable thoughts to contribute to the meaning of this alignment of elevens. However, those of us who are fans of the classic original Rocku-Mockumentary THIS IS SPINAL TAP have another meaning for today. Today is Spinal Tap Day!
For those of you who have seen this movie, you know this is the obvious choice for Spinal Tap Day because of Nigel's fascination with the volume knob on his amp going to eleven. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, here is a comical clip from the movie with his classic quote at the end: "...but these go to eleven." Hope you all get a good chuckle out of this goodhearted spoof of the dim-witted rocker stereotype:
Happy Spinal Tap 11-11-11 Day!
And of course, the REAL holiday today is Veteran's Day! If you know a Vet, thank them!
All Things Possible,
Chris

Hmmm, I didn't expect to be among the first to post (if not the first) as I would have thought that "Spinal Tap" would have generated a lot of comments - it certainly is good for a lot of laughs! Though I prefer "Waiting for Guffman" because of my involvement with community theatre, and "Best in Show" which has an appearance by Chris.
Oh,and I always take time to thank a vet - not just on Veteran's Day but other times too!

I prefer to celebrate by doing something more practical....like eating eleven hamburgers in eleven hours, say....L.B.
