Congratulations Class of 2012
Last weekend we got to attend several commencement ceremonies for various family members. A big congratulations to our niece and everyone else who has survived and completed their high school (or middle school, or college, etc...) experience! You have made it through a long journey that really is the beginning of a whole new journey. (Funny how life works that way!)
Much to my surprise and delight, I also got to see an old pal graduate as well. When I say old, it's all relative - but it has been a long time since we have hung out...
So congratulations Angus! I'm as proud as any jungle dad could possibly be!
And congratulations to all the other graduates out there too! Have a FUN SUMMER!
All Things Possible,
Chris

Little kids should not be allowed to grow up and make old people feel older....and some of us will be getting older this weekend will we not?

Yes, Tim, some of us will:) And Angus can't possibly be graduating! Ah, the memories of days gone by.
But, the good thing is we all have the good fortune of having encountered All Things Possible...and therefore, we are young in spirit, always! I'm right about that, aren't I? You all do agree, of course:).
Have a beautiful birthday week GOTJ2 and wishes to Angus for a wonderful life all grown up!
ATB to everyone as summer begins! Keep cool Tim in this extreme heat, too...Sue

Wow, time does have a way of moving by quickly doesn't it? And it seems to get faster each passing year...
I really like graduation ceremonies and often get a little choked up at them. So many young people who have their lives ahead of them, some with dreams that will come true, some with dreams that won't, and then there are the majority who will discover that their dreams will change - and that it's okay for them to change. After all, that's what life is really about, being happy regardless of what ever happens or lies ahead you you, isn't it?

Great comments, Dave and Tim...
Wow, my daughter's birthday is two days after Chris'...I better get moving! Perhaps flowers are in order:) What a beautiful birthday month...and to be at the summer solstice time of long days, beautiful sunsets. Enjoy your day! I feel I should find a wonderful possibility quote here in honor of the occasion.
If I don't find one soon, perhaps someone will before me:). I need to make a collection of them, and this ATP birthday is reminding me!
Have a beautiful birthday Chris, and a beautiful Sunday everyone!

I think this one will do for the first one:)

Thanks for all the birthday wishes guys!! Yes, you're right Tim, children should not be allowed to become adults and make the rest of us feel so old!
I had a great birthday today and really enjoyed reading all of your well wishes here and on Facebook!
Thank you all for making my birthday a special event for me!

Yes, Happy B-Day to all it applies! And I hope all my blog-mates here also celebrated what I hope will be a National Holiday one day--you guys haven't already forgotten "Little Bighorn Day"?(June 25th--1876; Montana territory). My co-workers actually reminded me this year, since I began a tradition of buying everyone milkshakes to celebrate at work! Bribes work well on dogs AND primates.....And speaking of dogs, I had a severe attack of my incurable affliction(the rare and little publicized "Canis Acquiritis Syndrome") recently--I was offered not one, but TWO very rare sighthound pups from Khazakstan for FREE!!. These dogs(Tazis, which are Central Asia's version of the Saluki--please Google if you are unfamiliar) are normally PROHIBITIVELY expensive, especially for a peasant like myself! Shipping from Khazakstan alone is usually about one-thousand smackerooz! So it was a once-in-lifetime offer I COULDN'T refuse(especially with my affliction). So now, I'm only THREE dogs over my self-imposed limit of only ten dogs at any given time(sigh).....

....and I fergot to initial that last message--L. B., of course. I keep having to renew that dern Google account over and over, so I'll likely just be "Anonymous" again.........

Happy Extreme Heat Summer everyone!
Tim and Dave hoping you are OK from storms...skirted us this time. Just need rain, nothing wild and crazy:)
Tanya, how are your flight plans going? Yes, it would be fun to watch you practice sometime...never mind the flying part...I still am looking for that book of Sam Keen, have it around here somewhere! When I do find it I will think of you while reading:). Have fun with your family this summer.
Lane, I love your special occasions. You are always having fun, so every day is a holiday! It would be fun to visit your zoo sometime on our way south. Next winter we may spend sometime in North and/or South Carolina according to my husband's ideas as we drifted down the coast to FL in March.
What a wonderful story about your new dogs. Might you have pictures? Chris, remember the time you had us send in photos? I still remember the lighthouse one I put. I suppose it's still there:)
It would be fun to have a forum sometime. Right now, mine is sort of on Facebook, and not everyone is there anymore or yet!
Alex, I love it that you included "beautiful" with ATP birthday! Hope your weather is quiet for a moment. I haven't checked lately. But the weather pattern is really off the charts this year planet-wide.
Chris, glad you had an ATP birthday!
Wishing you all a SuperNova Star-Spangled July 4 and the spirit of that wherever you are! ATB...Sue

Tanya and all,
Hope you enjoyed the email yesterday. We are going camping this week and wish everyone a fantastic ATP rest of July. It was great seeing the two superheroes on the graduation posting. Yes, it's been an amazing journey. But one I'm sure we all are glad to have been a part of. Here's to Angus and Chris...forever friends, I'm sure. If we could stop time, but, I think Tanya would say, there's no stopping mid-air, you have to keep on ATP flying:)! Cheers to that! Sue
