No Country for Old Men
OK Movie Lovers,
I just saw a movie that is perhaps the best storytelling ever put on film. In short, you have to see No Country for Old Men. It's haunting, elegant, violent (warning! - graphic at moments), funny, witty, and very, very smart. Performances are excellent all the way around, but Javier Bardem will chill you to the core.
The tempo is measured and organic. Don't expect popcorn pacing. The film makers take as long as is necessary to tell the story. Nothing more. Nothing less. But with dialogue written and performed as delicious as this, you really don't want the film to end.
Tommy Lee Jones as Ed Tom Bell

Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh - brrrrrrr!

Speaking of the ending, it will haunt you long after you leave the theater. Promise me you will see this film. You'll thank me afterwards.
