Gran Torino

What a powerful story about an old, lonely, angry bigot. Directed with charm and humor that diffuses the incendiary racial slurs and points out how pointless those words really are. Clint plays a widower Korean War vet with a major chip on his shoulder, but as it turns out, an ever-so-tiny soft spot left in his heart. If you saw one movie from 2008, this is it. GO SEE THIS MOVIE.

POWERLUNG

HEY EVERYONE!

My cousin shared something phenomenal with me this past week and I think you should know about it. It is called POWERLUNG. I know, it doesn't look like much, but I am telling you I can't believe how much it has changed my life in one week. First off, know that I am not selling the powerlung. I don't profit off my testimony, and in no way do I otherwise benefit by telling you about this product. I'm just so excited about this thing and I think everyone should know about it. As I read this, it sounds to me like an infomercial, but I assure you I am simply very enthusiastic about this new tool that I'm using.

I taught singing for several years and played wind instruments in bands and orchestras before that, and I WISH I had a powerlung to train with back then! Now that I am a full time professional actor, my voice is one of my most important instruments and how I use it affects how I communicate and how I am perceived. In just one week of consistent use, I am experiencing a remarkable increase in the power and resonance of my speaking voice.

The powerlung was originally developed for athletes but has since been market towards musicians, respiratory rehabilitation, and casual users who wish to increase their general health and wellbeing. It's operation is simple. It adds adjustable resistance to both your inspiration and exhalation (in-breath and out-breath). I treat it like any other exercize in my workout and do at least 3 sets a day of 10 - 15 reps. I take it with me wherever I go so I can do another set if I find myself with 30 seconds of downtime. If you or someone you know does a lot of breathing in the course of your day, you might be interested in finding out more at www.powerlung.com. It works for me.

Chris
