So how's that bucket list of yours coming?

Your bucket list, for those who haven't heard of a bucket list before, is a list of things you want to do before you "Kick the Bucket" - brought to popularity by the 2007 feature film "The Bucket List". (ps: GREAT movie!)

Well we marked one of our bucket list items off our list last weekend. We flew in an Airship. One of the may things I learned during this adventure is that an Airship is different from a blimp mainly because an Airship has an internal structure that holds it's shape, unlike a blimp which will collapse like a balloon when deflated.

It's not the cheapest thrill I've ever had, but it was a unique one! And anyone can book a flight on this airship. It's called the "Eureka" and you can book your flight online at www.airshipventures.com.

Frivolous? Absolutely.
Unnecessary? Of course!
Prudent? Not in the least.

And looking back on your life, how many of those sensible decisions stick with you and enrich your life compared to the ridiculous ones?

Happy Spinal Tap Day!

Happy 11-11-11!

Those of you into numerology may have valuable thoughts to contribute to the meaning of this alignment of elevens. However, those of us who are fans of the classic original Rocku-Mockumentary THIS IS SPINAL TAP have another meaning for today. Today is Spinal Tap Day!

For those of you who have seen this movie, you know this is the obvious choice for Spinal Tap Day because of Nigel's fascination with the volume knob on his amp going to eleven. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, here is a comical clip from the movie with his classic quote at the end: "...but these go to eleven." Hope you all get a good chuckle out of this goodhearted spoof of the dim-witted rocker stereotype:
