Freddie the Leaf

Happy Fall!!

Although my favorite day of the week is TODAY and my favorite time is NOW, every season offers something special and exciting to enjoy.  I love my memories of Autumn when I was growing up in Michigan - the crisp air with that dry brittle smell,  diving into a pile of dry leaves, the explosion of color in the trees.   

I just got some great pictures from my Mom of the autumn leaves this year in Michigan.  It's one of the many things I miss, living in the land of eternal perfect weather.  Check out these great shots!













It all reminds me of a really beautiful book that Mom shared with my brother and me years ago entitled "The Fall of Freddie the Leaf".  It is a beautiful allegory by Leo Buscaglia about life, death, and our reasons for being.
